We have our first public WQIP meeting scheduled! It will be at 7:00pm on Wednesday, June 4th at the Manhasset Library (flier).
The next currently scheduled Committee meeting is on Thursday, May 15th, 2025at 7:30pm in Town Hall (220 Plandome Rd, Manhasset, NY). However, it is possible this or the June meeting will be cancelled, so be sure to check back.
Volunteer for a Coastal Clean-up
Thank you to all the volunteers who came out to March 2025 cleanup of Mill Pond and our annual participation in the International Coastal Cleanup started by Ocean Conservancy! Pictures from both events are up on our Facebook page. Our next cleanup will likely be over the summer. We hope to see you there!
The next Committee meeting is scheduled for Thursday, May 15, 2025at 7:30pm in Town Hall. However, this or the June meeting may be cancelled in lieu of other upcoming Committee events. The dates for upcoming Committee meetings in 2025 are: May 15 and June 12. Meeting cancellations do happen, e-mail the Director for more information and/or to be added to the meeting mailing list.
Committee meeting(s) are generally held in the Law Library of Town Hall (220 Plandome Rd, Manhasset). Committee meetings are free and open to the public. Generally, the Committee meets monthly seven (7) times per year. Meetings are almost always held on Thursdays and at 7:30pm until 9:00pm. Occasionally, one of these meetings (typically May) is cancelled in lieu of a joint meeting with other Long Island Protection Committees.
